Fencing Action

Fencing is such a graceful, yet dramatic sport.
I've always been fascinated by its almost dance-like quality.

Continuing my sports themed projects I shot the brilliant Tim Gadaski and Adeel last month.

Taekwondo

Taekwondo combines combat and self defence techniques with sport and exercise.
I shot Alex and Lauren recently performing the sport for me.

Line Dancing

I have shot quite a few ballet dancers in a more traditional way previously.

Here is a more conceptual and graphic approach I achieved through my lighting choices,
and thanks to the wonderful Josephine's limitless enthusiasm and patience.

International Photography Awards 2013

Spiros' work has again this year been honoured at IPA, the global photography awards.

His shots for The Sunday Times of ballerina, Melissa Hamilton at The Royal Opera House and of
the San Francisco based record label roster 'Dirtybird' won honourable mentions in the pro editorial category for 'photo essay and feature story' and for portraits.
